Roak Brewing

Opened in June 2015, Roak is a 30bbl brewhouse and taproom located in Royal Oak, MI. We are dedicated to quality, creativity and our community. Like our logo all of us at roak have a passion that burns inside of us to bring our consumers the best beer we possibly can.

At Roak, quality is at the top of our list at all times. We strive to produce beers that are consistently well-crafted, balanced, and full of aroma and flavor. With a on-site lab we are dedicated to ensuring the highest quality and freshest beer we can.

Roak Brewing Co. started with creativity and the desire to make something new. We work hard to stick to our values and create a product and a company that is creative and innovative. From our artist-designed taproom and label art to our special releases and core beers, we try to capture a spark of creative in everything we do.

Roak was founded in family and that is the kind of culture we are committed to creating in the brewhouse and in the community around us. Royal Oak is our home and Detroit is our neighborhood. We want to be good neighbors and an asset to the community.

We do this by donating a portion of all the proceeds from our Devil Dog Oatmeal Stout to the local VA hospital and through our Community Partnership program. These partnerships are monthly cross-promotional opportunities with Detroit-based non-profit organizations.

In our first few months, we have partnered with Humble Design, The Boys and Girls Club,The Michigan Humane Society, and The Royal Oak Nature Society.
